Journey from Body to Heart Wisdom

Since the release of my debut book Body Wisdom ~ A guide to connecting with your Intuitive Self in 2024 my embodiment practice has both deepened and expanded.
Not only has my work evolved in my creative offerings, the training and workshops experiences I guide people through, but fundamental lessons of what it means to EMBODY, to have a body, to work with my body and my intuition and all of its wisdom.
The most profound has been in what this connected way of being and moving through the world has allowed for my emotional capacity. Through deepening my relationship with my body and felt sense, I have expanded my capacity to feel the depth of my feelings, including and most importantly - all the uncomfortable emotions. To process these states in necessary ways, and allow myself to feel the full magnitude.
Instead of a history of ignoring, dismissing, numbing, distracting - I have worked intentionally to feel, to allow, to understand, to know these parts of myself.
To meet them with curiosity, with compassion.
And the best part?
I have not hardened my heart.
As I deepened into feeling safe again in my body, I softened further into my heart.
Across the many seasons of my life, the ones that left me scattered, stretched thin, or far from myself, the call that echoed again and again was the same: return to my Heart.
The Heart ~ A powerful force. It encompasses so very much.
Heart as a place of strength.
Heart as an unwavering sanctuary.
Heart as pain, as grief, as ache, as sacrifice.
Heart as compassion, as care, as consideration.
Heart as love - in how we show up for ourselves, in friendship, in relationship, through our actions.
Heart as hope, as faith.
Heart as connection.
Heart as learning to trust, again and again and again.
Heart as openness, as curiosity.
Heart as a big warm welcome.
Heart as acceptance.
Heart as passion.
Heart as remembering.
Heart as Home.
In 2025 I moved towards an intentional shift to be with my Heart.
I wanted companionship in this journey.
I curated a creative container, inviting ten women to join me, those that were also curious, willing and had capacity to dive into the realm of what wanted to become more known in their heart space.
Together, we went on a journey to discover this space for ourselves, and alchemise what was there creatively.
As I opened this sacred container, I was giddy with the intention of putting my Heart centre stage. Giving Her the attention and listening ear that she deserved.
I had no set expectations for the journey. A final image of a book weaving wisdom across its pages in a myriad of creative colours, lines, shapes and words was the desire. But what this journey would be, how we each would individually and uniquely take this starting enquiry of ‘The Heart’ and flow with it, that was all a mystery. A curious unknown. I was open to all the ways it could unfold.
When the women said YES to my invitation, I was so moved. Touched that they connected with the idea, honoured that they felt the call, delighted that it meant we would be sharing such intimacy together. I trusted their ‘Yes’. I trusted their curiosity and their willingness to go into the realms that such creative self-reflective journeys can hold.
I knew the courage it was asking. Courage to meet parts of ourselves, courage to move gracefully through any resistance and negative self-talk, to bring back the gems of alchemising their worlds to cathartically release, reflect, create and share with you all.
And such potent sharing too- what a deep ask! At times it met resistance. Oh, the power of our inner dialogues: What do I have to say? Who would want to read my words? Is it good enough? Am I good enough?
I am a story collector, ever curious and always asking questions, hungry for the details, here for the full spectrum of the experience.
I believe that there is something to learn from everyone. Every one of us has something to share. I have been privy to these women’s stories, to witnessing chapters of their lives and I have learnt from their wisdom. I wanted to selfishly put their stories together in a bundle and have my own curated book of wisdom that I could sit with and return to. That I could open up to any page and read their words, bask in their wisdom and follow the threads, connecting me back to my own Heart.
And that, my dear friends, is exactly what I have for you…
PRESENTING:
HEART WISDOM ~ A tapestry of women’s stories, poetry and creations.
A vibrant collection of personal essays, collage pieces, drawings, paintings, short stories, poetry, photographs. These women have shared creations spanning grief, joy, longing and belonging.
Wisdom from their lived experience, alchemised into potent creations.
And as you flip through the pages, dear reader, their creations are interwoven with intentional journal pages offering gentle creative prompt invitations to reflect and connect to your own Heart Wisdom.
This book was a delight to curate and an even bigger joy to be birthing into the world now for you to enjoy!
