From Burn out to Body Wisdom

Dear hearts,

In my tenth year of Intuitive Self this year, it’s given me a wonderful opportunity to reflect on my origin story - where I have comes from, how my work and offerings have evolved as I have over the past decade, and the consistent through line of my work.

If you’re new here and curious to learn more about this work, my approach and the way I use body-based practices & creative arts therapy as a tool for support and healing, I encourage you to dive into this episode as a soft landing and wonderful place to start.

Last month I had the pleasure of connecting with Samie on her See Blissfully Lit Podcast.

In our episode I spoke to my work, my philosophy: how so much of my offerings and WHY have come from my lived experience. It is through my own experience of living in my head, being disconnected from my body, being burnt out in the field of community development - that I stumbled into my first dance/art therapy workshop and fell in love with these modalities which have been the absolute pillars for my own healing and insight.

I speak to my approach of how I support people to feel safe-enough again in their body, resourced enough to go to places within with curiosity and cultivate creative practices where we can access our wisdom.

If you’re new to Somatic Movement & Expressive Arts Therapy, I have a unique approach to the combination of this work and how I weave this with clients one on one and in groups. I encourage you to listen and if you’re curious, to book in a chat with me.

This episode offers my why, my heart and a taster of how being curious with these parts of ourselves, and weaving in the body and arts can support our healing, our growth and our authentic expression.
